Georgia’s Israel Rep Moving to Atlanta to Open Consultancy SEPTEMBER 11, 2015 | TREVOR WILLIAMS Ronen Kenan Ronen Kenan has apparently liked promoting the state of Georgia so much, he’s moving to Atlanta to make a business of it. The state’s representative in Israel will arrive this month, bringing his BizDevIsrael consultancy here to continue helping Israeli firms make the jump to the Southeast . More than 50 Israeli firms have made their home in the region, many of them in high-value fields like medical devices. Increasingly, they’re also creating jobs in manufacturing . The state is looking to replace Mr. Kenan in the Israel office. He was based near Tel Aviv , but previous Israel reps worked out of Jerusalem . “We thank Ronen for his work and service to the state for the past five years.
